How Isle Shine Chooses a Carpet-Cleaning Method

Choosing a carpet-cleaning method starts with the carpet and the problem you want addressed. Isle Shine Limited uses Prochem products and equipment, with the proposed approach assessed for the individual job. A brand name or a fibre name alone does not determine the whole process.

Start with the information available

Useful information includes the carpet’s care instructions, approximate age, fibre if known and any previous treatments. Photographs can show the area and visible concerns, but may not identify its construction or explain why a mark is there. Please share fitting paperwork or manufacturer guidance when available.

Explain the result you are looking for

A general refresh, a heavily used hallway and a specific stain are different enquiries. Tell us which rooms or areas need cleaning and what matters most: general appearance, a particular mark or a persistent odour. We can then discuss the scope rather than assume that every area needs the same treatment.

Product selection follows the assessment

Cleaning products have different purposes. Prochem advises consulting product specification and safety information when comparing products. We avoid treating a simple product-to-fibre list as a substitute for checking suitability, care guidance and the condition of the carpet.

The method, products and any separate spot treatment should be considered together. If you have concerns about fragrance or previous reactions to products, tell us before booking so we can discuss the proposed products and whether we can meet your requirements.

Agree practical arrangements

Please explain access, parking, furniture and the approximate area to be cleaned. Discuss when the room needs to be used again and the drying arrangements appropriate to the job. Cleaning may improve soiling and some marks, but cannot reverse wear or promise a new-carpet finish.
